Review: Stella Artois

Stella Artois from Stella Artois
Rating: C+

Pours a nice straw color, lacing is thin but lingers for a while on the glass. Looks like it's pretty heavily carbonated.

Nothing really stands out in the nose... a little bit of the citrus in the nose

A pretty light beer, taste-wise. Hops bitterness lingers on the palate.

Mouthfeel is sharp - more carbonated than I expected. Light, but the nice bitterness and carbonation make Stella a potential session beer, if nothing else as an alternative to an AML.

Good middle-of-the-road example of the style.
