Review: Arrogant Bastard Ale

Arrogant Bastard Ale from Stone Brewing Company
Rating: A-

After all the hype I was excited to finally try this one. Sampled at Eulogy, in Philadelphia.

Appearance: Dark, tarnished copper in color, khaki colored head. Good retention and lacing.

Smell: Citrus, caramel, roast malts. Complex.

Taste: Delicious and interesting. Well-balanced, not overly hoppy or overly malty. Flavor profile is similar to the smell: citrus, caramel, roast.

Mouthfeel: Smooth and creamy, good body.

Drinkability: High!

Serving type: on-tap
