Review: Andelot Cuvee Angelique

Andelot Cuvee Angelique from De Proefbrouwerij (bvba Andelot)
Rating: B

Poured a nice garnet color. Fairly clear. Decent sized head, good retention, little lacing. Smell is pleasant: dark fruit, hint of alcohol, caramel, and spice. Taste follows the same pattern - finishes dry, but not as much spice as I might prefer. Belgian yeast character a bit more subdued than I was expecting. Alcohol in the background. Mouthfeel is medium body, good carbonation. Drinkability is pretty good.
