Moosbacher Alt Kellerbier from Private Landbrauerei Scheuerer
Rating: C+
Appearance: Attractive, rich honey color. Nice sized head, with mediocre retention. No lacing. My first kellerbier - surprisingly clear, for an unfiltered beer.
Smell: very light aroma, reminiscent almost of wheat germ, with just a bit of hop presence.
Taste: Fairly light flavor, grainy, with a bit of overripe fruit in the finish. Finishes dry. A bit light for me, mom was a fan, however.
Mouthfeel: thin, carbonation seems a little light.
Drinkability: Okay, paired well with a light grilled fish sandwich.
Serving type: bottle
