Review: Snow Beer

Snow Beer from China Resources Breweries Limited
Rating: F

Purchased and consumed in Beijing. Glad to see it was in the BA database already.

Appearance is light yellow, very fizzy. Big white, light head. Little retention once the carbonation settles down, but some lacing. Aroma is very light. Faint whiffs of vegetables and... is that soap? Flavor is worse than mediocre. Light, but what flavors are present are less than pleasant: cooked veggies, grass and a lingering astringent aftertaste. Mouthfeel is unpleasant - sticks to the inside of your mouth. I want to say "soap" again. Light body. Drinkability low. Won't be finishing the can.

For those searching for this beer with pinyin, it's "Xuehua pijiu"

Serving type: can
